February 14th – St Valentine’s Day – has long been synonymous with love and romance. So what better inspiration for your own wedding?
Whether you prefer an understated look – with simple accents of red or pink; favour an all out hearts and roses fest; or love a more rustic feel with heart shape cut outs, kraft and lace; we hope you’ll enjoy these Valentine’s Day inspired looks from byjo.co.uk wedding stationery.
Valentine’s theme wedding stationery – You are Invited!
You’ll have heard us before saying about how the save the date or wedding invitation are the first glimpse your guests will have of your wedding theme and they help to set the tone for the upcoming celebrations.
For save the dates, how about a sweet little hanging heart tag or a calendar with a heart marking the big day?
For invitations, there are so many options – choose your style; pocketfold, flat, concertina, then just add hearts!
For rustic designs, heart shaped tags tied with lace or twine are perfect. Punched out heart designs work great with a contrasting colour peeking through.
For a more delicate, subtle heart theme, how about intricate laser cut out designs – these have been really popular this year and that trend looks set to continue.
Valentine’s wedding – on the day details
Heart shaped place cards can be made as tags or pegged onto wine glasses for an alternative to the classic tent card.
For en ethereal, delicate look we love these simple vellum tags with heart cut outs and silk ribbon. Gorgeous with a romantic pastel colour theme and vintage china.
If personalised menus are your thing, punched out hearts look great, especially with a contrasting colour showing through. We can add heart shaped ‘cocktail token’ tags to the top of these menus too – a really neat way to incorporate place card, menu & favour all in one.
Favour boxes can have heart shaped tags, add guest names to these and they can double up as place cards too. Fill with heart shaped chocolates, sugared almonds or love heart sweets. Or how about more delicate laser cut boxes, the perfect size to fit a votive candle in any number of romantic scents.
Finally, add heart cut outs or embellishments to your table plan and finish off the look with hanging hearts on chairs (great for reserved seating on the ceremony chairs) and colourful, ribboned wands on your place settings.
