When I met with Georgina and her mum to talk about wedding invites, there was some very clear inspiration. Those stunning panda anemones that would feature in Georgina’s bouquet and throughout the florals for the big day. Coupled with a crisp navy and white colour palette, we got to work designing the most beautiful and elegant suite of anemone wedding invitations and stationery for Georgina & Morgan’s wedding.

Pocketfold style anemone wedding invitations
There was a good deal of detail that needed to be included in the invites, so Georgina chose a pocketfold wedding invitation style. The smart navy outer was secured with a printed bellyband with the first glimpse of those anemones. Inside, the invitation itself and all the insert cards were printed on a white, hammer texture board with more of those fabulous florals.

This larger size (5” x 7”) pocketfold wedding invitation is perfect if you have a lot of details to include. In these there was information about the venue, accommodation and gifts as well as cards for menu options and a reply card with tick boxes. Those invitations that needed it also has a little menu card just for the children.
A simple flat design was created for the matching evening invitations with the anemone florals printed again onto white hammer textured board and backed with the navy blue.
Both day and evening invitations had crisp, white envelopes.

Stationery to match those anemone wedding invitations
We carried the floral theme throughout the big day itself with a complete anemone wedding stationery suite.

A wedding welcome sign greeted guests as they arrived, and coordinating confetti packets printed with an order of the day timeline told them where they needed to be and when. A smaller, tent style sign showed guests where they could leave their cards and gifts for the happy couple.

For the reception, Georgina created her own table plan with cards printed to match the other stationery. Tables were named after London Underground stations (where the happy couple were engaged!), so we made printed table name cards to fit gorgeous golden frames, sourced and supplied by Georgina. At each place setting a simple but elegant printed place card also carried the anemone design. Georgina and Morgan chose navy blue table linen, so crisp white place cards really stood out.

And finally, coordinating thank you cards
The last part of the wedding that the guests would see, those all-important thank you cards. Simple but elegant, incorporating those beautiful anemones again. The thank you cards were blank inside for the new Mr & Mrs Thorpe to write their own personal message before popping into a crisp white envelope ready to post.
It was an absolute joy to work on Georgina & Morgan’s anemone wedding invites and stationery. I loved every minute of creating their design. Plus, Georgina and her Mum, Jo, were the perfect clients to work with. They knew what they wanted, but were open to suggestions and design tweaks along the way. The result was happiness all round!
