Why choose concertina invitations?

Concertina wedding invitations (also known as trifold invitations) are a clever way to keep the invitation, all the extra details and reply card together.

They are made as one long piece of card, printed on one or both sides and folded in two or more places to fit inside the envelope.

The end panel can be a reply postcard, detachable so that your guests can complete and send back to you without an envelope,

Shapes & sizes

Postcard – 10cm x 15cm
A lovely pocket size, with three folds/four printed panels

Square – 14cm x 14cm
A larger size, with three panels (two folds)

Either size can be printed in landscape and portrait formats.

Printing and envelopes are included with all concertina wedding invitations. If you’d like a different size or shape, just ask.

Plenty of room for all your details

My concertina wedding invitations can be single or double sided. Meaning you get a whopping six (for square invitations) or eight (for A6 size) printed panels to fill up with whatever you want to say.

One of your panels can be a detachable RSVP postcard, perfect if you need to collect menu choices from your guests.

Vellum wraps

If you’re looking for an extra luxe finishing touch for your concertina wedding invitations, how about popping them inside a vellum wrap or jacket?

Tied around with a ribbon or twine, and maybe a wax seal to finish off the look, these are one of my favourite designs to make. They are sure to wow your guests.

Eco friendly trifold wedding invitations

All my concertina wedding invitations are printed on recycled and/or recyclable board and are supplied with recycled envelopes. Fully personalised printing is included. Why not choose plantable seed paper for a super eco option?

I try to keep waste to an absolute minimum, so aim to make all my wedding stationery easily recyclable at the end of it’s life.

When to send invitations

You should aim to send your wedding invitations 6 to 8 months before the big day. This will allow you plenty of time to receive and collate all the responses and confirm your final guest numbers.

Don’t forget, you’ll only need one invitation per couple or family, not one per guest. Always include a few spares for unexpected additions to the guest list and of course a keepsake for yourself.
