Let your guests find their seat and add a little extra to your table decor too
These are placed on your tables at the wedding breakfast so guests will find their seat. As well as the guest’s name they can be printed with your own names and wedding date, and so make a nice keepsake from your wedding.
Classic tent style place cards are about 5cm x 7cm (folded at the top), or tags can be used instead and can be tied to cutlery, pegged onto wine glasses, napkins, favours or anything else you can think of!
If you want to add menu choices to place cards we can do that, or how about personalised individual menus that double up as a place card too?
We can print your guests’ names on place cards and tags, or leave them blank for you to write on. You will need to order one per guest and even if you ask us to print names it’s a good idea to order a few spares in case of last minute changes.
Cute little boxes for tasty treats and clever wallets for lotto tickets
Wedding favours are a grown up version of the ‘party bag’, a token of thanks from the happy couple. Traditionally they were filled with five sugared almonds, to represent health, happiness, fertility, long life and wealth. These days just about anything goes!
All our favour boxes measure approximately a 5cm cube and are supplied empty. Choose from white or ivory or a host of other colours. Larger and different shaped boxes are also available for special order.
If you would like us to fill them for you we can give you a price for supplying chocolates, sweets etc, or recommend some lovely local suppliers to do so. Alternatively, if you want to buy your own special treats for the boxes, you are welcome to bring them to us and we will fill the boxes for you (and tie any ribbons into neat little bows if the design calls for it!).
Some of our favour box designs lend themselves to being printed or having little tags attached. These can be printed with your guests’ names if you want to, so that your favours double up as place cards on your reception tables.
Giving lotto tickets or scratch cards as favours? We can make place cards with a clever little pocket to hold them, and a message inside of your want to.
The finishing touches for your wedding reception
Encourage your guests to leave you a goodwill message – great to look back on after your big day.
Ours measure about 16cmx 23cm and come with a matching presentation box.
Wedding Post Box
A wedding post box is invaluable to keep all your cards safe and secure at your reception, especially if they contain money or vouchers.
Ours measure about 50cm x 25cm x 25cm and have a lift off lid with a large slot in the top. They double up as a great keepsake box after the big day!
Both our guest books and post boxes come in white or ivory and will be personalised with your names and wedding date to match your stationery design and colour scheme.
What’s for dinner?
Wedding menus are not essential but can be a nice finishing touch to your reception tables. You will need them though if you are offering your guests a choice of meal.
Place two or three folded menus on each reception table. Our regular folded menus measure about 10cm x 21cm and have a card outer with a stiff paper insert. The insert can be printed on both the left and right hand sides so can incorporate other details such as the wine list, or a children’s menu. If you would like a different shape menu (square or extra tall) we can do that too, just let us know.
If you have asked your guests to choose their menu in advance of the wedding then it will be a good idea to have a reminder for them on the table. Our personalised luggage labels (measuring approximately 6cm x 11cm) are perfect for this, and as they will be printed with your guests’ names they will double up as place cards.
We can also design bespoke bookmark style menu cards, please contact us for details.
Order of service
For a church service, this contains the details of your wedding ceremony, including music, readings & hymns. You can choose standard A5 size or dinky little pocket size booklets, and generally we include up to 8 pages of text (extra pages can be added if needed). A simple design to coordinate with your stationery is perfect, perhaps a kraft card outer tied with lace or twine for a Rustic & Quirky theme, or classic white or ivory with a fine satin ribbon for a more Classic & Elegant look.
For more details about what to include in your order of service, see our blog post HERE.
Order of the day
For a civil ceremony an order of the day, or order of ceremony contains music and readings as well as a running order and approximate timings for the day. It is not essential but can help your guests to know what to expect during the day, particularly if you are following a non-traditional timetable. They can also make a nice keepsake from the wedding. You could have the same booklet type format as our order of service or a more simple folded or flat card sized to fit the information.
For both order of service and order of the day we recommend one per household/family, although many prefer to order one per guest.
Coordinate your table numbers with your other stationery
Cards that identify the tables in the reception room to help your guests to find their seat. You will definitely need these if you are naming your tables rather than using numbers.
We can make table names or numbers flat to be placed in the table number holders that many venues use. We can also make them as free standing tent cards, flags on sticks, or large tags with ribbon or lace attached to hang from floral arrangements or candelabra so they become an integral part of the table decor. The possibilities are endless!!
You will need one per table including the top table.
Display at your reception venue so your guests can find their seat for the wedding breakfast
If you need your guests to sit in a designated place at your wedding breakfast, then a table plan or escort card display is essential.
We can design and create something spectacular to tie in with your theme perfectly, either to match other stationery you have from us, or as a stand alone item. There are various options available from a classic seating plan, to a bespoke mirror mounted showpiece, or an original display of escort cards. If you have a frame or mirror you would like us to use – we can, or we can point you in the right direction to purchase one.
Get in touch to discuss which option might work best for you and your wedding.
Welcome signs, favour tags, venue signage – all to coordinate with your stationery
All those coordinating little finishing touches that will really bring your wedding to life.
We can make little tags for your favours, printed with your names & wedding date or perhaps special message. Have them on their own, or supplied with ribbon, twine or lace to tie.
Need a welcome, wedding this way or dance the night away sign? We can do that.
How about cute little Bride & Groom signs for your chair backs?
Anything you can think of – just ask. If it’s made from card or paper with ribbons, glitter or bling – we can probably make it!
The all important follow up
It is important to send cards or notes after your wedding thanking your guests for coming and for any gifts you have received.
Classic thank you cards are usually folded with a paper insert, but if you would like a different size or shape just let us know and we can give you a quote. How about post cards, luggage labels or bookmarks?
Most couples choose to have them left blank for a personal handwritten message, but we can print them if you want us to. All our thank you cards come with white or ivory envelopes.
Order one for each household that attended your wedding or sent a gift, remember that evening guests will often bring gifts as well so allow for those too. Also include some extras for people who helped out, or who were involved with your wedding day, and for those who couldn’t attend but maybe sent a gift.
