What wedding signs do I need?

Wedding signs are a great little finishing touch for your big day. Dotted around your venue for both your wedding ceremony and reception, they are an important part of your coordinated handmade wedding stationery suite. From wedding welcome signs to signs for your guest book we’ve got you covered. Here’s my suggestions for the some of the wedding signs you need for your big day.

1. ‘Welcome to our Wedding’ sign

Placed at the entrance to your venue, a bespoke wedding sign will welcome your guests and reassure them that they are at the right place. Welcome to our wedding with your names beneath, or welcome to the wedding of . . . . is all the wording you need. Keep it simple to make an impact.

3. Pick a seat not a side wedding sign

You want your guests to mingle for the ceremony. You’re not sticking to the traditional ‘bride or groom, left or right’ thing? A pick a seat not a side sign could be just what you need for your wedding ceremony.

4. Order of the day bespoke wedding sign

An order of the day wedding sign lets your guests know where they need to be and when. Tell them when they can expect to eat and when they need to be ready for cutting the cake.  Approximate timings are great but don;t overload with information, keep it to a few key points throughout the day.

5. A bespoke wedding sign for your card table

Perhaps you’re having a wedding post box, or maybe a decorative box or basket for your wedding cards. Either way, a beautiful bespoke wedding sign will make it clear for your guests, so they’re not left in any doubt to where they should leave a card or gift.

6. Love is sweet bespoke wedding sign

If you’re having a sweetie cart or table at your wedding reception then this is a must have. A cute little play on words, Love is sweet please take a treat, tells your guests to help themselves and enjoy themselves.  Don’t forget we can print your personalised sweetie bags too for a fully coordinated look.

7. Bespoke wedding sign for your wedding hashtag

Lots of couples now choose to have their own personalised wedding hashtag. A bespoke wedding sign or two is a great way to let guests know and remind them to use it when they post their pics to all the socials.

Fancy using a wedding QR code instead of a hashtag? Read more about those here.

8. In memory bespoke wedding sign

Sometimes it’s nice just to have a little place in the room to pay tribute to those special guests that are there in spirit only. A beautiful bespoke wedding sign is the perfect way to do this. Place it in a special frame near a candle or some flowers.

9. Wedding guest book sign

A bespoke wedding sign is a great way to let your guests know where your guest book is. It will also remind them to leave a personal message for you. My top tip; nominate someone in the wedding party to own the guest book and politely pester your guests to sign it. Perhaps a bridesmaid or groomsman; you know, the one who just loves to talk to everybody. It’s the perfect solution to ensure your guest book doesn’t get forgotten about.

10. Wedding confetti sign

If you are having confetti, encourage your guests to help themselves with a pretty, bespoke wedding sign to coordinate with the rest of your stationery.

So what wedding signs do I need?

These are just a few ideas for the bespoke wedding signs you might need for your wedding. There are many others you could have too including: signs with your wedding QR code, reserved seating signs, photobooth signs, signature wedding cocktail signs, directional signs, the list is endless. I can create any of these with your own personalised messages, to coordinate with all of your other beautiful handmade wedding invitations and stationery.

All of my large signs, A3 to A1, are printed onto eco display board. This is made from FSC certified materials and has a corrugated core so they are fully recyclable and eco friendly. Smaller signs are printed onto 100& recycled card, and can be made tent style so they are freestanding or flat to go into a frame of your choice.

And don’t forget, if you can’t see exactly what you’re looking for just ask! I love to create new and bespoke designs, just get in touch. You can visit my studio in Taffs Well to see designs and samples, or we can arrange a phone or video call if you prefer.
