Wedding Stationery South Wales – Visit my studio to order your wedding invites in Cardiff

Ready to order your wedding invites in Cardiff? Having had my studio closed to visitors for nearly four whole months, I’m excited to announce that I can now welcome you again! Please remember that face covering must be worn when you visit the studio.

I know that lots of you are keen to get on with planning your weddings and choosing your invitations and stationery for 2021 and 2022. So, I’ve been hard at work measuring up the the studio and I’m pleased to say I think we have the space and a workable plan. I’ve put together the following process that will allow me to hold face to face consultations again whilst keeping us all safe.

First up, do you really need a face to face consultation?

While we’ve been in lockdown I’ve managed to hold a number of successful consultations over phone and email. While I always love to meet you in person, this is a great option ‘in the first instance’ and you may find that you don’t feel the need to visit the studio after all – although you are always welcome of course.

How it works

Once we agree a convenient date and time for me to call you I’ll ask you to fill in a quick questionnaire to help me get a little background info on you, your wedding and the kind of stationery you’re after. I’ll set up an online mood board with some initial ideas and send you a link so you can view it while we chat. We’ll talk on the phone usually for about half an hour, but we can take as long as you need. After our call I will follow up with a fully personalised quote for all the stationery we discussed. I can also post out samples to you if we agree it will be helpful.

Use our contact form to get in touch if you think a phone consultation could work for you.

Studio reopening – Want to visit?

My studio reopening after lockdown is a big step towards normal and I can’t wait to welcome you back. However, safety is paramount for all at the moment so things will be a little different for a while. I’ve put together the following guide to how it’s going to work and the measures I’ve put in place to keep us all safe.

Use our contact form to book your studio consultation now.

Pre booked appointments only

This is nothing new for us, as the studio is in my garden I have always accepted visitors only with a pre booked appointment. I’m fairly flexible on times, but for the time being please bear with me if I don’t have immediate availability.

Use our contact form to book your studio consultation now.

Limited appointment slots

I will be working reduced hours for the immediate future. Therefore I will be taking a maximum of three consultations each week, no more than two in a day. Where two appointments are booked on the same day there will be a significant time gap between them to allow me to clean surfaces and to ensure that there are not too many people at the studio at any one time.

Fill in a questionnaire before you come

Again, this is part of our usual process. Once we’ve agreed a day and time I’ll send a confirmation email with instructions on how to find me. Your email will include a questionnaire for you to fill in before you visit. This helps me to have the relevant samples ready for you to see when you arrive.

Let me know when you arrive

When you arrive for your appointment I’ll ask you to send me a text from your car. This is so I can make sure the studio is set up properly and everything is ready before you come in. I’ll text you back to let you know that I am ready.

Only two visitors at a time please

I will only allow two people to visit at one time. You must be from the same household as we don’t have the space to allow 2 metre space between our guests. A maximum of 3 people i.e. myself, you and your guest will be present in the studio at any one time.

Keep your distance

I have arranged the studio furniture so that when you visit you will be seated at the end of our long work table. I will be seated, a safe two metres away, at the other end of the table. A selection of samples will be placed at your end of the table for you to have a good look at. I will also be able to show you different designs and create mock ups at my end of the table which you can view from a distance.

Cleaning and sanitiser

I will have hand sanitiser available in the studio and I will ask you to use it when you arrive and before you leave. While we’re on the subject of sanitising, I will be cleaning down furniture, surfaces and door handles before and after each consultation.

Contactless payments only

We can accept contactless card payments in our studio, up to a maximum of £45.00. Any other payments must be made online by BACS, credit/debit card or PayPal. We will not be accepting any cash payments for the foreseeable future.

Only visit if you are well

I hope it goes without saying, but please, if you are unwell or have any symptoms please do not visit. We’ll rearrange your appointment for another time. And of course, this works both ways. If I, or any of my family, become unwell then please be patient if I need to postpone your consultation.

If you have any queries or concerns at all regarding our studio reopening, please just drop me a line and I’ll do my best to help. This is all new for us too, so please bear with us while we learn and adjust.
