In the midst of planning your big day? Then we’re sure you’ll have a few lovely wedding fayres marked on your calendar-EXCITING! We know your time is precious and that your wedding day means the world to you, so we’ve compiled a little list of top tips to help you make the most of your day at the fayre!
1. Take reinforcements!
Hubby to be, mum, mother in law and the girlfriends. Not only will you love sharing the excitement with your nearest & dearest but they’ll also be great to ‘bounce’ ideas off. They will appreciate being asked to get involved and will come in very handy for carrying the goody bags, freebies and MASSES of leaflets and business cards that will come your way! (PS…here at the beach house our two favourite things are sparkles and stationery, so swing by any of our wedding exhibits during 2016 to receive your free gorgeous ByJo pencil!)
2. Get organised!
Buy yourself a document wallet that you can divide into sections by supplier….i.e Stationery, Cakes, Cars, Entertainment etc. Then, as you toddle around the wedding fayre, being handed business cards left, right and centre, you can pop them straight into their relevant section making looking through them (once you’re home on the sofa with a nice cuppa) SOOO much easier!
3. Get involved!
All the ladies here at ByJo absolutely LOVE meeting and chatting to brides and grooms to-be, and we’re sure that any wedding supplier worth booking will feel exactly the same way. Don’t be afraid to approach experts at wedding fayres and pick their brains….we promise they will be delighted to help you.
4. Feel free….literally!
Here at ByJo we welcome and encourage brides and grooms to be to get hands on with our stationery. We have a vast product range and selection of invitations and it’s really important to us that you are comfortable to have a good mooch through our beautiful things. Our stand is always dripping in pretty, sparkle and sophistication – it would be criminal not to take a closer look!
And last but certainly not least…….
5. Wear comfy shoes!
We love our heels just as much as the next girl, but our advice; opt for a comfy wedge or cute ballet pump. There’s normally quite a few stands to get around at a wedding fayre and if you’re anything like us you’ll want to revisit a few suppliers a second or third time. You’re making important decisions and need to be thinking about all things wedding…..rather than your aching soles!
