Making A Purchase
Making an online purchase could not be easier. Just browse our website or use the search function until you find the item you want. Enter any personalisation and select any options required. Click on “buy now” and enter the quantity required. A running total will appear of what you have ordered. You can continue to add more items or remove some at any time. After you have finished your selection, click on "checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. You can change the contents of your basket or cancel your order at any time - as your request is not confirmed until you enter payment details. If you do not wish to make your purchase online, please contact us by phone or email and we will be happy to discuss other methods of ordering.
Personalisation
When we receive an order for personalised items we will contact you to determine your printing and personalisation requirements. A proof copy of each personalised item ordered will be sent or emailed to you for approval. All details should be checked very carefully and amendments made upon the proof. No verbal amendments can be accepted. Once you are happy with the proof you should sign and return it to By Jo. Personalised stationery is produced exactly in accordance with the approved proof, and can only be considered faulty in this respect if it differs from this.
Minimum Order
There is no minimum order value, you can order as many or as few items as you require.
Payment
If your order value £150.00 or less we require payment in full with order. If your order is over £150.00 then we require a 50% non-refundable deposit with order, the balance (plus any applicable delivery charges) will be required prior to despatch of your final items.
We accept payment online by most major credit or debit cards, these are processed online using PayPal. Product description
We try to ensure that all of the items shown on the website are accurately represented. The majority of our products are individually handcrafted and consequently there may be slight differences between each item produced. There may be slight variations in texture or colour of materials as much is handmade. There may also be slight differences between size and placing of elements as each card is crafted and set by hand. We always endeavour to keep a high level of uniformity within any design. All orders are subject to material availability. We reserve the right to substitute alternative materials if necessary.
Colour Representation
We try to ensure that all colours are represented or described as accurately as possible on our website. If you are trying to match a particular colour scheme for example on wedding stationery, we suggest you order a sample first to satisfy yourself that the colour is correct. In some cases we may be able to provide colour swatches of particular materials, please contact us with any requests you may have.
Order Changes & Cancellations
All orders are personalised to your requirements. For this reason, refunds and exchanges will only be made if an item is found to be damaged, or does not meet your order or proof specifications. This does not affect your statutory rights. Under exceptional circumstances we may agree to cancel an order, however you will incur a cancellation fee.
Inserts & Envelopes
Unless otherwise stated, greetings cards are left blank inside for your own message, and are supplied with a white or colour co-ordinated envelope.
Coordinating white or ivory envelopes are supplied as standard with wedding, celebration and event stationery where applicable. Coloured envelopes and postal boxes may be available on request, please contact us for details.
Please note that envelopes are not supplied with samples.

All cards and stationery items are handmade to order, including samples.
We endeavour to ship all samples and single item orders (e.g. guest books, keepsake boxes, post boxes) within 2 weeks of receiving your order.
Delivery of wedding, celebration & event stationery is usually 4 to 6 weeks from approval of proof, but can vary depending on material availability and workload. We will make every effort to complete your order within the timescale advertised, and you will be notified immediately of any delays arising from unforeseen circumstances.
If you have an urgent requirement for anything, please do contact us before ordering as we will often be able to help.
Delivery Charges
A standard charge of £1.20 applies to orders of £15.00 and under.
Orders over £15.00 are subject to a standard charge of £3.50 per delivery.
If you are a local customer you can arrange to collect your order from us, and avoid the delivery charge (orders over £15.00 only).
We only ship to addresses in the UK.
Packaging
We make a conscious effort to recycle packaging materials wherever it is possible and practical. Please do not be offended if your goods arrive in a postal box or packet that appears to be second hand!
Return of Damaged or Faulty Goods
Whilst we strive to ensure that all goods reach you in perfect condition, there are unfortunately times when this does not happen. If you should receive damaged or faulty goods from us you may contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange a replacement or full refund. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Safety
All cards, stationery and accessories may contain small decorative items that could represent a choking hazard to babies and small children.
The fillings of all edible table favours may contain nuts and are not suitable for children under 36 months.
Marketing
Our web address and telephone number are printed very discreetly on the back of all our cards, stationery items and accessories. This is a major source of repeat business for us. If you have any objections to this, please indicate when ordering.
Your Privacy
Your privacy and trust is important to us and we will treat any details you provide us with respectfully. We do not participate in unsolicited mailing (and avoid working with those who do), and will never give your contact information to other organisations unless legally required to do so.
